Employment Protection Law: Balance, gray areas and pending issues

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic greatly stressed the labor relations market, by limiting human contact to unprecedented levels. The response of the Government to this very particular phenomenon was immediate, by sponsoring the «employment protection » law. This article aims to evaluate, balance and analyze the aforementioned law, as well as reflecting on some gray and pending areas that this new regulation and its current modifications have left us with at the time of the drafting of this article.
