This paper reviews systematically which human
rights were violated by the Chilean state in the
Lonkos v. Chile case, confirming a notion of
criminalization of protest underlies, affecting not
only the human rights of the Mapuche leaders
involved, but also the internal democracy of the
Chilean state.
