The evolution of constitutional law in recent years has transformed the way of understanding the role that constitutions in legal systems, and Chile has been no exception. As a first point of view, it is argued that the current understanding of these documents -as binding legal norm- has triggered a prolific jurisprudence on a great number of issues that affect all of society. Undoubtedly, this view impacts necessarily on teaching and training of future lawyers. Thereby, this paper aims to report our practice in this sense; specifically, on the use of "the teaching experience" as a strategy of teaching - learning to the discipline of Constitutional Law, considering its advantages and disadvantages.
