Abstract

After the return of democracy in Argentina, Human Rights have taken a fundamental role in education. In particular, regarding the education of the future legal experts, after the constitutional reform in 1994, the position of the International Human Rights became more important. Usually, to educate about Human Rights implies teaching specific subjects or public law (e.g. constitutional law). In this paper, I will consider the implications of the legal expert education. Then, I will inquire into the current situation of teaching human rights at the law schools as well as rethink the pending challenges that we need to achieve mainstreaming of human rights in different and specific courses.
