Abstract

Clinical legal education is based on two aspects: practical training of the student and community legal service. Universities recognize the importance of training students
for their professional practice and legal practice enables direct contact and learning from real cases. Using a qualitative approach and the technique of documentary review of forty articles published in journals indexed in Scopus, this study concludes that clinical legal education contributes to the formation of law students through critical thinking, human rights training and social assistance, which guarantees their integral development.
