Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the risk factors affecting the mental health of Law students in the high-Andean region of Peru during the second half of 2022 and the first half of 2023. The study was conducted using a deductive approach, quantitative methodology, and a non-experimental, descriptive longitudinal design. The Sisco inventory v. 21 by Barraza was used as the instrument, with the study population being Law students from the National University of Altiplano during the semesters mentioned, with a sample size of 246 and 245, respectively. The main findings indicate a significant prevalence of symptoms such as chronic fatigue, concentration problems, and emotional distress; thus, it is recommended to work with effective coping strategies, implement psychological support, and review academic practices to improve student well-being.
