Abstract

The aim of this paper is to discuss the relation between the notion of equality of opportunity and the Fairness System of Priority of Access to Education designed and carried out by the University of Chile. I try to identify the moral bases of such proposal and their implications. My approach is highly Rawlsian in nature.
