Abstract

It discusses the possibility of using metacognitive strategies for improvement of legal education in the face of which determines the National Curriculum Guidelines for law school, towards securing an autonomous and critical learning. In this sense, the knowledge and the use of metacognitive strategies for students and teachers can constitute an important tool to achieve these goals. The methodology used for the approach can be considered systemic, a hypothetical-deductive procedure Popper. The hypothesis, since the development of the discussion on metacognition and metacognitive strategies in law schools allow the promotion graduating profile identified in DCN's stroke was confirmed.
