Abstract

This article explores pedagogical innovation in the teaching of criminal law through the use of popular songs and other strategies linked to art, such as film, literature and painting, with the aim of promoting a teaching experience that is more participatory and closer to the students. These methodologies seek to transform the criminal law classroom into a meaningful experience, in which students are not limited to passively receiving information, but actively construct their own knowledge. The research highlights the importance of the teacher-student bond and motivation as essential factors in the educational process. It is observed that the use of artistic resources not only facilitates the understanding of complex criminal law concepts, but also improves long-term knowledge retention.
