The project titled «Active Learning of Civil Law through the Simulation of Trials and Academic Debates in the Classroom with the Support of LLM (Large Language Models) Tools such as ChatGPT» combines the doctrinal analysis of Civil Law with the development of practical skills through legal simulations. In these activities, artificial intelligence is configured to assume roles such as clients, witnesses, or interested parties, tailored to the context defined by the instructor, thereby generating realistic and contextualized interactions. In the activity called «Virtual Client», students take on the role of legal advisors, tasked with resolving inquiries, identifying legal issues, developing strategies, and proposing solutions, while the artificial intelligence model simulates the role of the client. This activity also facilitates the analysis and management of patterns and potential linguistic, cultural, or gender biases in the model’s responses. The design of prompts, a central element of the methodology, regulates the model’s behavior and guides interactions, ensuring that the simulation aligns with pedagogical objectives, a key aspect examined in this study.
